A man taken into custody after reports of a naked man on the roof of a nursing home died Sunday, police said. 

Officers responded to reports of a naked man on the roof at Berkshire Nursing Home at 1255 NE 135th St. at about 10:25 a.m. 

Police said they found the man, identified as Camilo Ernesto Guzman, 28, in the lobby. He was threatening to commit suicide and became “combative,” North Miami police said. 

Officers took Guzman into custody and took him to Jackson Memorial Hospital North, where he was pronounced dead. 

An investigation into his cause of death is under way.
